Area J Council
The Area J Council includes representatives from the numerous sailing organizations within Area J. Its function is to coordinate the activities of the yacht and sailing clubs and other organizations within Area J as they relate to US Sailing. One important job is to support and coordinate the process of picking which individuals will qualify to represent Area J in the US Sailing championships that restrict entry to one individual or group from each US Sailing Area (the so-called "ladder" championships).
